Supporting schools to deliver

Oracy & Communication

Helping you embed purposeful, confident communication across the curriculum.

Why Oracy Matters

Speaking and listening are central to how children learn and interact. When pupils feel confident with their voice, they communicate more clearly, build vocabulary and take part in learning with ease.

With spoken language receiving greater national attention, schools are looking for supportive, engaging ways to develop these skills. Drama provides a natural space for children to talk, listen and collaborate in ways that feel real, meaningful and enjoyable.

Our Approach

We combine oracy development with high-quality drama techniques to create purposeful, practical speaking and listening experiences. Through improvisation, character work, role play, and structured drama activities,
pupils learn to speak with clarity, use their voice confidently, listen actively, take turns, build on others’ ideas and organise their thoughts when sharing with an audience. Drama naturally creates moments where communication is needed, helping children practise these skills in ways that feel real, engaging and memorable.

Bespoke Support for Your School

Every school has different priorities, so our oracy support is tailored to meet the needs of your pupils. Whether that’s building confidence, improving group communication or supporting EAL/SEND learners, we create sessions that fit your school.

We also offer a term-long programme with a simple, ready-to-use teacher resource pack, helping communication skills develop between our visits and giving pupils a clear outcome to work towards.

Impact in Schools

Our drama-based oracy sessions give pupils practical opportunities to speak, listen and collaborate. Schools tell us they see:
